My fingers feel like spilling

I don't really feel worthy to talk to you because of my absence from Blogger. I feel like I've been neglecting you all. Oh well, better late than never, right? "Right, Jared!" chimed the three people who happen to read this post...anyway...

I just took a break from writing this to pick up my guitar. And BOOM! I now have bits and pieces to my very first song. I'm going to show it to Josh, tweak it and write lyrics. My hope for my first song is to put up a video of me playing it on here. That might not be for a long while though, do to my inconsistencies to this poor forgotten blog of mine. On the other hand, I HAVE been going through this weird creative boost recently. I started drawing the other day. They're just some quick sketches, mind you. But I was pleasantly surprised at what came out of my mechanical pencil. I guess I didn't know I had it in me... Oh, AND I picked up my camera and started shooting again. I love it!

My goodness! SO much has happened in the last two months of me not posting up here. I'll quickly list the big ones:

Zoyenka Aulana Bethune was born to Levi and Heather Bethune on the 4th of September, 2008. I haven't seen her in person yet. I can't wait for a visit though. She's gorgeous!

School has started for most. Because of happenings that are completely my fault, I won't be able to start school until next session. That not starting till late October, I have a lot of time to work and hopefully a lot of money to save.

Reigner moved down to Pensacola, Florida a week ago. He's now in the Pensacola Ballet Company and dances his days away down there. I know he's already falling in love with it down there. I don't really blame him though, it's Florida!

I started the Football season this last Saturday with a Norfolk State game. It was alright. I got two hours of overtime. I just can't wait for Basketball season. (No, I don't watch the games. I do freelance audio/video work for ESPN, Cn8 and Comcast Sports.)

Kelsey is now the official music director at church. She's staying pretty busy with that and school. She'll be turning 20 on the 11th. I still have no idea what to get her. Any suggestions?

While we're on the subject... Birthdays AND Holidays are just around the corner! Not even a corner. More like, right in front of us! This all sums up to the realization that I will be in the negative come January.

Jared

P.S. I would consider myself a Swashbuckler, would you?
